According to IRNA, these competitions were held with the participation of 274 judo players from 29 provinces of the country on Thursday and Friday for 2 days, hosted by the 2,000-seat Fajr Bushehr hall.
In this tournament, the Razavi Khorasan team won one gold medal, four silver medals and one bronze medal, and the second and third places went to the provinces of Tehran and Isfahan, respectively.
The country’s youth judo championships were held in eight weights, and the winners of these weights, in addition to winning medals, receive a license to participate in the national youth judo team.
The head of Bushehr judo committee said: holding such events is a valuable opportunity for more judokas from the same province to see the field so that they can gain the necessary experience for a strong presence in future competitions.
Yaser Jamali added: The people of Bushehri have a very good reception of judo, so that this discipline is now active in eight out of 10 cities of this province.
He reminded: Bushehr province also has the necessary conditions to host national events and national team camps in different age groups, despite the appropriate infrastructure.
