
According to the Tasnim news agency, the media service of the Cameroon Football Federation announced by publishing a report: on November 23, a reporter who introduced himself as Roman Molina; He contacted Samuel Eto’o (Chairman of the Cameroon Football Federation) via WhatsApp. In his message, he mentioned having documents and flash drives containing audio information and recording phone conversations, which can damage the image of the federation and its president. In the continuation of his message, this person added that he is willing to refrain from publishing these materials in exchange for receiving 25,000 euros, which must be deposited into a bank account. He also wanted to name his sponsors, who he said had already paid him €7,000 and had promised to pay the balance of €13,000 after publication.
According to this report; Samuel Eto’o did not respond to the messages sent by the French reporter, because in principle we do not negotiate with blackmailers. In this case, the Cameroon Football Federation wants to file a complaint with the French court under the charge of extortion.
