In an interview with IRNA on Thursday, Yaser Jamali added: The aforementioned competitions will be held from December 2 to 4, hosted by the 2,000-seat Fajr Bushehr hall.
He stated: These competitions will be held in eight weights with the participation of 32 teams from different provinces of the country.
Jamali continued: Considering the presence of 300 judo players from different provinces of the country, we are trying to make these athletes, after returning to their city, be ambassadors to introduce the rich culture of Bushehr province as much as possible.
He added: Nader Mahdavi will also be introduced as a prominent martyr of Bushehr province in a direct battle with America for judo players in the country’s youth judo competitions.
The head of the judo board of Bushehr province said: due to the broadcast of this event on the national sports network, economic activists can plan to introduce more of their field of work in addition to supporting the province in this sports event.
Jamali added: On the second day of the country’s youth judo competition, the annual assembly of the provincial judo committee will be held in Bushehr with the presence of the head of the federation.
He continued: In order to represent the representative of the province in judo competitions, the youth of the country participate in various camps hosted by Tehran, Khorasan Razavi and Golestan provinces.
Jamali said: holding national competitions hosted by Bushehr province is a valuable opportunity to increase the experience of judokas from the same province, and this optimal opportunity should be used to the fullest.
The head of Bushehr judo committee said: Despite the special position of judo among martial sports, it has not yet been well introduced and institutionalized in Bushehr province, that holding youth judo competitions is a good opportunity to realize this important.
Jamali reminded: This discipline has 14 Olympic golds, and considering this capacity, it is necessary to create the necessary motivation in teenagers and young people to work in this discipline by holding national events.
He added: Bushehr province has very good facilities for hosting judo in terms of infrastructure, and considering the favorable weather of the province in the second half of the year, it has the necessary preparation to host various competitions.
In another part of his speech, Jamali stated: Dashti and Deir cities are two inactive cities in Bushehr province in the field of judo, which will be active by the end of the active year with the provision of experienced and interested trainers.
He reminded: Now the number of organized judokas in Bushehr province is 940, most of whom are men.
Jamali continued: In terms of infrastructure development, there is also the necessary preparation for setting up a judo house with the provision of land for Zone 2 of Bushehr and Ganaveh cities.
