The date of the Iran-Azerbaijan cycling tour has been determined

According to Fars News Agency, Rasoul Hashemkandi Asadi, the head of the federation, said about holding the thirty-fifth period of this tour: “Unfortunately, due to the widespread corona virus in the world and our Euro debt, we could not hold this tour in 1399 and 1400.”

He continued: “Fortunately, with the repeated follow-ups and assistance of Hamid Sajjadi, Minister of Sports and Youth, we were able to pay the debt we owed to the World Cycling Union, and the thirty-fifth round of this tour will be held in October of this year.”

The head of the Cycling Federation, regarding the exact time of this international tour, said: According to the calendar registered for the Iran-Azerbaijan tour in the World Cycling Union (UCI), it will be held in 5 stages from the 7th to the 11th of October.

At the end of his speech, Hashemkandi Asadi noted: The routes of the tour stages and the number of teams participating in this international tour have not been determined yet. But all the efforts of the executive agents and organizers of this tour will be to hold the thirty-fifth period of this tour as well as possible.
