Although none of these freestyle wrestlers are in the composition of the national freestyle wrestling team of Iran to participate in the 2022 US World Cup, Kyrgyzstan has announced that the tournament will be held in Bishkek at the end of December as the host of the Grand Prix Cup.
Based on this, four freestylers of our country will be sent to Kyrgyzstan at the end of this month to face Bashir Magmadov and Timur Bezhiev, Sergey Kozirov from Russia and Lekhagogarl Munkhtur of Mongolia.
These friendly matches between Iranian wrestling stars and several famous world wrestling champions will be held in Kyrgyzstan with cash prizes ($6-10,000).
According to Mehr’s reporter, the Freestyle Wrestling World Cup will be hosted by the United States on December 19 and 20, and all eyes are on the confrontation between the Iranian and American teams in this tournament.
