Regarding Sivap services, I must say that our primary focus has been on providing services to the elderly alone, because it is possible that sudden events may happen to them and the family may not be informed, that is why we have designed a gadget that can be used by the elderly and only in emergency situations. Where did the idea of Sivap come from?
The main idea of Sivap actually started from my personal life, my father has been living alone for years and we cannot visit him regularly due to our busy schedules; That is why we are constantly worried about them. About 2 and a half years ago, my father fell down at home and it took about half an hour for them to get to the phone and contact us. Tell us about the challenges and steps you experienced on the way to building Sivap.
The challenges that exist in the way of production in our country are mostly clear, but the outbreak of the Corona pandemic aggravated this issue. We had no access to foreign information sources; There were no domestic samples either. We tried to do the R&D process ourselves using the youth of this country. I can say that it was a difficult experience, but it brought us very good results. In addition to these cases, due to the fact that this product was not known and commercialized in our country, we had challenges in assessing market needs. Currently, every step we move forward, we make the path smoother for activists in the field of the elderly; But unfortunately, the institutions that are in charge of supporting the elderly have not entered into this story. What was your goal of entrepreneurship?
I can say the most enjoyable goal there is; It is self-entrepreneurship and creating employment, in the second stage it is to meet a need that is tangible in the field of the elderly and has caused concern for families; That’s why we have chosen the hashtag “no more worries” from the first day so that we can solve the worries of families in maintaining and caring for their elderly with Sivap.
What skills do the key people in your team have?
The core of our team consists of three people who have started working together since the first day. I myself have good experience in managing software projects and have managed large platforms. Mr. Hashemi is also in the technical development department. For about 10 years now, they have been responsible for the development of various web and mobile platforms; Also, Mr. Amir Vahad, who with his valuable experience in the field of sales and commerce, from the first day with this point of view in the sales department, moved Sivap forward and all the standards of setting up a pure startup; Managed from market research to sales.
Do you currently have a competitor?
Currently, we do not have a commercialized sample or in the stage where Sivap is currently located in the country; But we cannot say that we have no competitors! Currently, we have nearly 8 million elderly people, which is increasing with a growth of 2.5%, and this is a very large market; In our country, in the health sector, providing other services to the elderly, as well as using the potential that exists in the field of the elderly, I can say that no action has been taken yet; It is the same in the insurance and treatment sector. Of course, there are foreign competitors like this all over the world; But due to the prevailing sanctions, they have not yet entered our country. But with the openings that may take place, foreign competitors can definitely enter the country, and until this opportunity exists, I think we can launch a startup ecosystem for the elderly.
What are Sivap’s next priorities for the future?
The second phase of Sivap, whose initial stages have already started; Entering the use of artificial intelligence to control and propose a better lifestyle will be based on the information received from the elderly.
