The elections of the Bowling and Billiards Federation were postponed

According to Fars news agency, with the request of the Bowling and Billiards Federation and the approval of the Ministry of Sports, the third election of this federation was canceled and postponed to another time. Due to the many events and programs it is facing these days, this federation applied for the postponement of its elections.

Federation elections were scheduled for July 3rd, while from the beginning of this week (June 27th), the Bowling and Billiards Federation is hosting the Asian Championship, which will be held simultaneously in three divisions and will continue until July 4th.

At the same time as these competitions, the meeting of the board members of the Asian Confederation will also be held. For this purpose, Mubarak Al-Khyarin, the head of the World Billiard and Snooker Federation, along with “Moussi Al-Naimi”, the head of the Asian Billiard Sports Confederation, have also traveled to Tehran at the same time as the tournament.

In addition to these simultaneous hostings, the first international conference on science and billiard disciplines will be held during the first days of July under the supervision of the Bowling and Billiards Federation. Besides, holding the international arbitration class is another program that has made the traffic of the federations’ activities heavier these days.

For this purpose and in line with the more regular holding of the electoral assembly, the Bowling and Billiards Federation demanded the cancellation of the July 3 election and its postponement to another time, which was approved by the Ministry of Sports.
