The end of betting on shirts in the Premier League
According to Fars News Agency, English Premier League clubs have agreed to stop using the advertisements of websites and betting companies on the front of their teams’ shirts from the 2016-2017 season.
Currently, eight of the top 20 teams in the English Premier League have bookmakers’ advertisements on their shirts, earning them £60 million a year.
The British government is also going to announce its proposed plan for the regulation of betting in the future.
