The end of Taleghani’s work in the Khuzestan football team/ Farewell to the last signatory of the Wilmots contract

According to the sports reporter of Fars news agency, the four-year term of Abdulkazem Taleghani’s presidency in the Khuzestan province football team ended on June 20, and after about 50 days of this time, the task of this team was determined by the selection of the head coach.

With the proposal of Hamid Bani Tamim, Director General of Sports and Youth of Khuzestan and the approval of Mirshad Majdi, the head of the Football Federation, Abdul Azim Al Kathir, the former head of the referees committee of this board, was chosen as Taleghani’s successor.

This choice, 28 days before the election of the football federation, made Taleghani, who was a former member of the board of directors of this federation and was one of the signatories of the contract with Mark Wilmots, no longer a member of the assembly of this federation.

With these interpretations, after the dismissal of Haider Baharond from the head of the league organization and the selection of a replacement for Taleghani, none of the eight former members of the Federation’s board of directors who signed the Wilmots contract have any position in football.
