This proud athlete of Fasaei equalized with her Korean opponent in the final of this competition by gaining 90.6 points, but since Maryam Khodabandeh’s performance score was higher than Korean Taekwondo, she won the gold medal with the votes of the judges. He won silver and Taekwondo from Turkey also won a bronze medal.

Also, Maryam Khodabandeh went to fight the opponents with Morteza Reza Sefat in the pumice section of the team that was held with the participation of eight teams, and in the end, she won the second gold medal of this period of the competition by gaining 24.7 points.

Khodabandeh is participating in the Olympics for the third time and so far he has succeeded in winning 2 bronze medals in 2013 and 2017 and 2 gold medals in the 2021 Olympics on Zill and is the most honorable Persian athlete in the Olympics.
