The final 14 players of the national volleyball team have been determined

According to the sports reporter of Fars news agency, the fifth edition of the Solidarity Games of Islamic countries will be held from August 18 to 27 in Konya, Turkey.

According to the opinion of the technical staff of the Iranian national volleyball team, 14 players were selected to be sent to the national team B to the solidarity games of Islamic countries.

Shahrouz Homayounfarmanesh (captain), Ali Ramezani, Fazel Pajuman, Pouria Yili, Berdia Saadat, Arman Rahmani, Ehsan Daneshdoost, Ali Hajipour, Ismail Masafir, Mehrab Malekisarkhi, Amirza Sarlak, Mohammad Valizadeh, Abolfazl Qolipour and Ismail Talebi are 14 players.

Mostafa Kharkani as supervisor, Azim Jazideh (head coach), Kambiz Yaqoubi (coach), Vahid Sadeghi and Ahmed Fattah (assistant coach) and Amin Ali Akbari as analyst accompany the national team B in the games of Islamic countries.

Iranian men’s volleyball has three gold medals in the solidarity game of Islamic countries in its work file, and the students of Azim Jazideh, the head coach of the national team B, are on the verge of winning the fourth gold medal in the Konya competition.

Iran’s national volleyball team will leave Tehran at eight o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, August 12, via Imam Khomeini (RA) airport for Ankara, and from this city will take a bus to Konya, the host of the solidarity games of Islamic countries.

In the men’s group of this competition, there are eight teams that will follow their preliminary stage matches in two groups.

Sudan, Azerbaijan, Morocco and Cameroon are in group A, and Iran’s national volleyball team will compete with Pakistan, Turkey and Qatar in group B.
