According to Mehr News Agency, the 8th World Club Cup (World League) wrestling tournament will be hosted in Isfahan at the beginning of March of this year, with the proposal of the wrestling federation and the announcement of Sepahan club’s readiness.
Six teams will participate in this competition. While the final decision has not yet been made regarding the holding of the World Clubs Open Wrestling Tournament, the head of the Wrestling Federation League Organization announced that Iranian teams must provide a financial guarantee to participate in this tournament, so that their minimum budget for team management must be 3 billion tomans.
With the announcement of the head of the league organization, invitations have been sent to six foreign teams, of which four teams will definitely participate in these competitions.
World Club Cup wrestling competitions will be held with the participation of six teams on the 4th and 5th of March this year, and the amount of 70,000 dollars has been considered for the cash prize and the cost of participation of foreign teams in the mentioned competitions.
With the decision of the sponsor of the World Club Cup wrestling competitions, only 2 Iranian teams will participate in these competitions.
