The first handicraft chain store in the country was opened in Kerman



According to IRNA, this store was opened with the aim of offering 30 products in one province and sending the products of one province to 30 provinces of the country as a pilot (sample) in the city of Kerman and in the place of Shahid (famous) park.

The location of this store is located in Kargar St., Masalai St., Kerman.

The CEO of Omid Keshvar Entrepreneurship Fund said at the opening ceremony of this chain store, referring to the decreasing trend of the entrepreneurial intention index in the country: “According to the statistics, the entrepreneurial intention index in Iran has decreased from 34% in 2019 to 28% in 2020.”

Asghar Noorullahzadeh continued: The start-up business index has also been facing a downward trend, part of which goes back to the corona.

The CEO of Omid Entrepreneurship Fund, stating that one of the most important activities of this store should be physical sales and marketing and exhibitions, said: This store should be customizable.

Noorullahzadeh emphasized that this store, as a business service center, should be able to hold an event every week in accordance with the products and advantages of Kerman province in the fields of handicrafts, etc.: One of the events can be designed , Packaging and application of handicrafts.

Referring to the credit sale conditions for such stores, he said: “Apart from production, we must also stimulate demand and all those who cannot afford to buy products can do so in the form of Qarz al-Hasna.”

Referring to the historical-cultural context of Kerman, the CEO of Omid Entrepreneurship Fund said: “We are ready to create production workshops in the houses of this context.”

The head of Omid Entrepreneurship Fund of Kerman province also stated in this ceremony: The construction of CC handicraft chain store was key 2 years ago with the cooperation of Kerman Municipality.

Yousef Pourvajed pointed out: The store is not only for discussing the sale of goods, but also the exhibition, store and introduction of products of women heads of households and clients of the Relief and Welfare Committee and the youth.

Hossein Mehrabi, acting deputy governor of Kerman, also said at the ceremony that Kerman handicrafts have been neglected: “Innovation, e-commerce and variety of products are necessary for success in the handicrafts sector.”

According to IRNA, some of the top entrepreneurs in Kerman province were also honored at the ceremony.
