According to Fars news agency, the specialized meeting of wheelchair basketball today, Saturday, December 26th, with the presence of Esbagian, chairman, Hamidi Debir, Nasiri, vice-chairman of the women’s team, and Golshani, the sports director of the federation, Najmi Raees, vice-chairman of the women’s wheelchair basketball association, regarding the status of the team. Women’s national team was held and Azadeh Moini was introduced as the head coach of the national team by a decision of the head of the federation.

In this meeting, the officials of the association presented a report on the status of women’s wheelchair basketball and the country’s championship competitions.

Golshani, the sports director of the federation, said: In the country’s championship, experts were present who, after examining the performance of the athletes, introduced us to the top players, and we evaluated these athletes in the meeting we had.

Nasiri, the vice president of women’s basketball, while expressing his gratitude for holding the national women’s championship, said: “This competition was an opportunity to evaluate the performance of provincial coaches and athletes, and we are trying to increase the motivation among basketball women with the development and progress of this field. Hamidi, the secretary of the federation, said: “With the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the National Paralympic Committee, we will hold full camps for the women’s national team, and we will even develop the 3-member team in this discipline.”
