According to Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the volleyball federation, after the return of the Iranian national volleyball team from the final stage of the 2022 Volleyball League of Nations, the president of the volleyball federation appointed Akbar Mohammadi as the head of the Iranian national volleyball team until the end of the men’s world championship. .

Mohammadi, who has about six years of experience as the manager of the national youth team alongside Behrouz Atai, was appointed as the manager of the Iranian national volleyball team in order to coordinate the technical staff more.

The 2022 World Men’s Volleyball Championship will be held with the participation of 24 teams from the 4th to the 20th of September this year, hosted by Poland and Slovenia.
