According to Fars News Agency, Majid Sadri, the head of Persepolis Club, announced his resignation by posting a post on Instagram.

He wrote on his personal page: In a letter to the Minister of Sports, I asked him to agree to my resignation from the chairmanship of the board of directors of Persepolis Club and the leadership of this team.
