According to IRNA, these competitions will be held on January 10 and 11 in the water and electricity gym located at the Bustan Gate in Ahvaz.
These national competitions will be held for the first time in 2 years in Khuzestan province.
In these competitions, 300 judokas in seven weights will compete against each other, and 30 judges will judge this event.
In these battles, the first, second and third members will be awarded 100, 50 and 20 million rials, respectively.
Athletes from 30 provinces of the country are participating in these competitions.
In an interview with IRNA, Ehsan Haji Najaf, Public Relations Manager of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Khuzestan, stated: “The necessary facilities have been provided for holding this occasion.”
He added: Khuzestan Judo has had a good performance in recent years and it is expected that the athletes of the province will appear brilliant in these fights.
Haji Najaf said: holding such fights will increase the motivation of athletes and spread the field of judo in the province.
