According to the economic monitoring report, the analysis of the statistics of the Statistics Center of Iran on the developments of the housing market shows that the average price of each square meter of a residential unit in the city of Tehran has reached 80 million 838 thousand 700 tomans based on the information of the country’s real estate system. Among the 22 regions, Region 1 is the most expensive region with an average price of 157,952,000 Tomans. The average price of housing in 6 districts of Tehran is below 50 million tomans and the lowest average price with 41 million and 501 thousand tomans is related to district 18. As usual, the highest housing transaction is related to region 5 with 390 units and the lowest transaction with 45 units for region 19.
In total, during September this year, 3008 housing transactions were registered in the country’s real estate system, which has decreased by 50% (50.14%) compared to last year’s September (6033).
