According to Tasnim news agency and quoted from Persepolis club’s official website, the board of directors of Persepolis club held a meeting today (Thursday). In this meeting, the team members, including players, coaches and other agents, were praised and thanked for their efforts, regular training and victory in competitions despite financial problems and non-payment of wages during this period. The board of directors called the Persepolis team a different team in Iranian football, which selflessly realizes its lofty goal and the wishes of the fans. It was decided to give a special reward to the team members as a sign of gratitude for the victory on the tractor.
The board of directors continued to examine the current crisis and the situation presented to Persepolis. Currently, due to the measures that are expected to be carried out with the cooperation of the privatization organization, but have not yet been realized, the closure of environmental advertising due to the monopoly of the league organization and the sponsor, who after two years of cooperation due to the pressures, does not come forward to sign a contract. All ways of obtaining financial resources are closed to Persepolis. Based on this, it was decided that while continuing the efforts and negotiations to remove part of the internal sanctions against Persepolis, one of the board members will explain the existing issues in the media on behalf of the club to inform the dear fans.
The website of the Persepolis club also wrote about this: “At the same time, the board of directors and the CEO of the club will continue their efforts to get the club out of the current situation. In this regard, we hope that due to the changes in the privatization organization, we can finally have a meeting with the new head of this organization. Currently, the status of the club in connection with the continuation of the privatization process is not clear. On the other hand, we have blocked income and financial resources that, if accessed, the club will be able to manage itself during the current crisis.
We also hope to find a solution to remove the pressure from the sponsor, so that according to the interests of the parties and mutual cooperation, it is possible to sign the contract and cooperation that has been going on in the past years.
