
According to IRNA, the Russian Grand Prix Judo Tournament will be held in Khabarovsk, Lenin Stadium, from May 6 to 7. These competitions will be accompanied by cash prizes.
According to the decision of the organization of national teams and technical staff, three judokas of our country will enter this competition.
“Vahid Jedi” in the weight of minus 73 kg, “Mehdi Fathipour” in the weight of minus 81 kg and Qasem Baghchaghi in the minus 90 kg are the members of our country who will be sent to this event under the guidance of “Mohsen Zakaria”.
Athletes who take first to third place will receive a special cup and medal. Judokas who have at least four fights in the weight group with at least 12 participants will receive cash prizes.
These competitions are not under the supervision of the World Federation and the people of our country have no problem participating in Russia. Iranian judo is currently under suspension and therefore can not participate in official events under the auspices of the World Federation.
