According to IRNA, the annual general meeting of the Taekwondo Federation was held today (Thursday) under the chairmanship of Sina Kalhor, Deputy Minister of Culture and Development of Public Sports of the Ministry of Sports, and with the presence of Hadi Saei, the President of the Taekwondo Federation, Ali Dadgar, the representative of the National Olympic Committee, Mohammad Tabib, the Executive Secretary of the National Paralympic Committee, Arash Farhadian, head of the joint affairs office of federations and members of the assembly, along with the heads of provincial delegations, is holding.
At the beginning of the assembly, Hadi Sae, the head of the Taekwondo Federation, presented a report on the performance of the various committees of the Taekwondo Federation in 1400. Then, the reports of 1400 and the Taekwondo Federation program calendar in 1401 were approved by the members of the assembly.
The report of the auditor, treasurer and inspector of the federation was presented by the relevant officials in 1400 and was approved by the members of the assembly.
In the continuation of the assembly, a vote was taken regarding the election of the members of the Board of Directors. In this section, Ali Khalili was introduced as the vice president of the men, Ishrat Shahmohammadi as the vice president of the women, Zahra Sarvi as the expert expert of the women and Mohammad Jamshidi as the treasurer were introduced by the president of the federation.
From the side of the assembly, Ali Nouri, the head of Taekwondo Board of Golestan province as the representative of the heads of the provincial boards, Hossein Ali Nazari as the representative of coaches and athletes, and Bijan Khorasani as the representative of government bodies supervised the election of the head of the federation.
In this election, Mohammad Jamshidi was elected as treasurer with 46 votes out of 57 votes. Ishrat Shahmohammadi, Zahra Sarvi, and Ali Khalili, who were the women’s vice president, the expert expert, and the men’s vice president, respectively, could not win the majority of the assembly members’ votes.
It was also approved that in the next 6 months, the supervisor of the assembly will be determined.
In the continuation of the assembly, Hadi Sae requested from Kalhor to allocate a section to veterans in the constitution, which was approved by the vice president of culture and development of public sports.
