Mr. Klinsmann, a member of FIFA’s technical studies group, said that in the Iran-Wales game, the national team players and technical staff “worked on the referee” and “it’s not a coincidence, it’s part of their culture, how they play.”
The Iranian Football Federation has already demanded an immediate clarification from FIFA on this matter and demanded Mr. Klinsmann’s apology and resignation from his duties as a member of the FIFA Technical Study Group.
