The reaction of the Olympic runner-up to the recent margins of wrestling and the Ministry of Sports – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr correspondent, the unprecedented incidents that took place on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Wrestling Federation between Alireza Dabir, the president of the federation, and Poladgar, the deputy minister of sports, are still at the forefront of official news and cyberspace. In the meantime, many sportsmen and wrestling veterans have reacted to the controversy between the secretary and the steelmaker in the past few days. These were the topics.

In this regard, “Alireza Rezaei”, the runner-up of the 2004 Athens Olympics, who has a history of coaching and managing national teams in various categories, told Mehr: ” It is the full support of the sports authorities, and certainly if there is a disagreement between the officials in this area, it is out of compassion and helping the wrestling. Undoubtedly, the margins of the assembly meeting and the disagreement between the secretary and Poladgar were also on the budget and should not be called personal in any way.

He continued: “As a former national team player and one of the head coaches and coaches of national teams, I have witnessed the difficulties and shortcomings and I know what problems there are in terms of budget for the ship.” As a result, I definitely support the ship because I believe the ship does not spin on regular budgets. Naturally, for this reason, there is a dispute between wrestling officials and the country’s sports authorities.

The former director of the national freestyle wrestling team, emphasizing that wrestling as the first sport of the country needs special attention and should be supported more by the parliament and the Ministry of Sports, said: Attend Asian Games, which also includes various international events in the age groups of infants, teenagers, youth, hope and adults in its annual calendar. Now consider that all these events and the heavy volume of competitions are held in both freestyle and western disciplines, and attending these arenas requires heavy budgets.

Rezaei said: “Apart from the heavy costs of attending the official arenas of different age groups, we should also mention the international and training tournaments that wrestlers should definitely attend.” To these important and costly events must be added the holding of training camps for national teams in various freestyle and western wrestling categories, which provide funding for any manager is like a nightmare.

In the end, the Olympic runner-up said: “Considering that I have been serving the national teams for many years with the national team runner-up and also as the head coach, the right to wrestle should be respected with respect to the Ministry of Sports, but nothing should be done to destroy the sanctities.” Stand against each other. I hope that this problem will be resolved as soon as possible and that the wrestling authorities and the Ministry of Sports will be able to work together in full cooperation and empathy to solve the problems of our country’s first sport.
