According to Fars news agency, the Russian embassy in Iran issued a statement regarding the non-issue of visas for deaf futsal players.
The Russian Embassy in Iran claimed by publishing the following statement: The statements of Mr. Ali Raadi, the respected head coach of Iran’s national deaf futsal team, regarding the refusal of the Russian Embassy to issue visas to the players of the Iran Deaf Sports Federation are not true.
When the representative of the federation went to the consular section of the embassy, it was observed that he did not have the necessary documents for the athletes to issue visas. While explaining the process of issuing visas to him, he was asked to provide the original passports and visa application forms. After that, he did not go to the embassy, although he was promised that it is possible to accept documents even outside working hours.
The embassy always helps Iranian athletes to obtain visas to participate in competitions in the Russian Federation. Other cases are false.
