These people stated the non-compliance of some articles of the statute as the reason for their complaint to the wrestling federation and the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
Branch 90 of the General Legal Court of Tehran’s Shahid Sadr Judicial Complex also voted to annul the elections of the wrestling federation after examining the protest. The issued decision can be appealed within twenty days from the notification date.
In an interview with Mehr reporter, an official in the wrestling federation said about the decision issued by the court and the annulment of the elections of the wrestling federation: We also saw this letter in cyberspace and I don’t think it is an important issue. I am not an expert on legal matters, but at the end of this letter, it is written that there is a 20-day opportunity to protest and reconsider.
He said: According to the decision of the Court of Administrative Justice, they can declare the elections of a federation invalid, this court is for real people. The nature of the Ministry of Sports is legal, of course, this is my information, and as I said, I am not very knowledgeable about legal issues. But this issue will be followed up by the legal department of the federation.
In response to the question of which clauses of the constitution were not observed in the elections, which the candidates of the federation complained about, this official said: The elections of the federation were held completely legally and all the clauses of the constitution were observed.
