Therefore, the quotas of Iranian clubs should be divided among the clubs with titles in two football seasons. Finally, after the investigation of the issue and according to the opinions of experts and the approval of the board of the league organization, the issue was raised in the meeting dated March 9th of this year.
The decision of the governing body of the Football Federation regarding the representatives of Iranian club football participating in the 2023-2024 Asian Champions League is announced as follows:
1- Due to the fact that the start of the 21st league and the elimination cup (1400-1401) was held with the premise of obtaining a quota for the Champions League in 2022, but due to the change of the calendar, the Asian Champions League matches were not held, so the representatives of Iranian football clubs in the league The 2023-2024 Asian Champions will be a combination of the winners of the Iranian Football League and the Iranian Football League in the last two years.
2- If the quota of Iranian clubs in the Asian Champions League is 2+2, the Premier League champion in the 1401-1400 season and the Premier League champion in the 1402-1401 season as direct quotas and the Champion of the Elimination Cup in the 1401-1400 season as the first Play Off quota and The champion of the 1402-1401 FA Cup will be introduced as the second Play Off quota.
3- If the quota of Iranian clubs in the Asian Champions League is 1+3, the Premier League champion in the 1401-1401 season, the Premier League champion in the 1401-1402 season, and the elimination cup champion of the 1401-1401 season as direct quotas and the elimination cup champion of the 1402-1401 season They will be introduced as Play Off quota.
4- In case of winning two quotas by one club; For example, the champion of the premier league and the championship of the elimination cup or the championship in both leagues, a certain quota will be assigned to the said club, and the other quota(s) will be assigned to the next qualified clubs based on the ranking in the table of the Premier League matches of the season 1402-1401. will take
5- The condition of obtaining a club license is mandatory for introducing clubs. In case of not obtaining a club license from one or more qualified clubs; Quota(s) will be awarded based on rank to the next eligible clubs in the Premier League table for the 1402-1401 season.
