According to IRNA’s report from the Judo Federation, the annual general meeting of the Judo Federation was held on Wednesday, July 29, at the Farsi Hall of the National Olympic Academy under the chairmanship of Seyyed Mohammad Poladgar, Deputy Director of Championship and Professional Sports Development of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
At the end of the assembly, all the members present in the meeting by presenting an official letter that was signed by them, declared their support for Arash Mirasmaili, the head of the Judo Federation, and requested the officials of the Ministry of Sports and Youth to deal with those who are immoral towards character destruction. The legal and legal elements of the Judo Federation are trying to disrupt the motivational movement of the Judo community by creating a website and ridiculous actions in cyberspace and setting up various groups in social networks, and also with people who do not coordinate with the Judo Federation and obtain permission from the Overseas Council of Interests. Those who prefer their personal interests to national interests and appear in official international arenas disregarding the situation of Iran’s judo community, should take the necessary judicial and legal action.
The text of the letter is as follows:
Honorable Mr. Mohammad Reza Poladgar, Chairman of the Annual General Assembly of the Judo Federation
As you know, the Judo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been cruelly suspended by the World Judo Federation for about three years. But during this period, the president of the federation, Arash Mirasmaili, has not spared any efforts to achieve the rights of Iranian judo. The significant and documented growth of the statistics of the activities proves the positive and successful performance of the Judo Federation during the suspension and the Corona pandemic.
The increase in the number of judo players in the official system of the Judo Federation from 60,000 people at the end of March 2017 to 108,850 people by June of this year is a clear reason for this claim.
While supporting and appreciating the performance of the head of the Judo Federation and the management team of the Federation, it is expected that during this period, people who have immorally destroyed the real and legal personality of the members of the Federation by creating a website and doing ridiculous actions in cyberspace and setting up different groups on the network. Social organizations have made a lot of efforts to stop the dynamic and motivated movement of the judo community.
Also, the people who, without the coordination of the Judo Federation and permission from the Overseas Council, have preferred their personal interests over the national interests, and in the situation where the Iranian Judo community has been disrespected because of the defense of the values of the Islamic Republic’s holy system, only to In order to solve the loss of their seats, they have been reprimanded for disregarding the situation of Iran’s judo community in official international arenas, and necessary judicial and legal action should be taken against them.
