According to the Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the wrestling federation, the national championship youth freestyle wrestling competition (national team selection) will be held on the 12th to the 14th of Bahman this year in the 7th Martyrs’ Hall of Tirteheran.
Based on this, the conditions for holding these competitions are as follows:
1- Weights and age conditions of competitions:
A) Weights 57-61-65-70-74-79-86-92-97-125 kg
b) Wrestlers in the age group of 11/10/1381 to 10/10/1385 are allowed to participate in these competitions.
2- Conditions of participation in competitions:
A) Each province must participate in these competitions with a full team. The presence of all eligible people in these competitions is mandatory.
3- Only one team is placed in the team ranking and the points of the main team are calculated.
note: It is necessary to remember that in the country’s championship, due to the fact that some provinces have more than one quota in some weights, they should introduce the main members of their team before the lottery ceremony, and in the team ranking based on the specified members. The points will be announced and other people with quotas from the relevant provinces will not get points if they get the position.
4- The wrestlers who will be allowed to participate in the national championship are as follows:
A-) The members of the national team in the 2022 World Championships (Bulgaria) who are age-eligible to participate in the competitions (except for those who won gold medals)
B-) The members of the national junior team in the 2022 World Championships (Italy) who are eligible to participate in the competitions in terms of age.
C-) Wrestlers who are sent to competitions by the wrestling boards in the form of provincial teams (31 provinces) and free regions of Arvand, Kish and Qeshm.
5- Due to the fact that the provinces of Mazandaran, Alborz, Gilan, Lorestan, Kermanshah, Tehran, Khorasan-Razavi have been represented in the 2022 Bulgarian World Championships, in addition to a full team, these provinces will be awarded a surplus quota as described below.

A-) Competitions will be held without weight divisions.
B-) The competitions will be held in three days on three mats.
c-) The draw and schedule of matches will be according to the current rules of the World Wrestling Federation.
D-) The presence of all qualified people in these competitions is mandatory. If they do not participate, they will be removed from the selection cycle of the national team.
