The start of the 3-a-side World Cup qualifiers with the participation of Iranian representatives

According to IRNA, Iran’s three-man under-23 girls basketball team is in the first group of the World Cup qualifiers with New Zealand and Qatar, while Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka are in the second group. In these competitions, the teams compete periodically and two teams from each group advance to the semi-final stage, and the competitions continue in cross form. In the end, the winners advance to the finals, and the champion of this tournament gets a permit to participate in the Women’s Under-23 Basketball World Cup.
Iran’s three-man under-23 basketball team will face New Zealand in their first game today at 7pm local time. Iran’s second match will be hosted by Qatar from 9 pm. This team has entered the competition with the combination of “Negin Rasouli”, “Fatemeh Aghazadegan”, “Ghazal Mohseni” and “Aida Golmohammadi” and under the coaching of “Nika Beyklik Lee”.
Our three-man boys basketball team is in the same group as Malaysia and Sri Lanka, and Qatar, along with New Zealand and Kazakhstan, will compete in the other group. “Behshad Arabzadeh”, “Amir Hossein Yazarloo”, “Ehsan Dalirzehan” and “Amir Hossein Rezaeifar” are the members of the Iranian team. “Siamke Veisi” is in charge of leading this team as the head coach.
Our national boys team will meet Qatar today at 18:25 local time and then will face Sri Lanka at 22:25. In the boys’ competitions, two teams from each group will advance, and after the semi-final stage games, the winning team in the final will go to the World Cup as the champion of this event.
