The Croatian tournament is the first ranked competition of 2024, and in this competition, Hassan Rengarz and Hassan Hosseinzadeh will accompany the national wrestling team, and it is likely that the people sent to this tournament will leave Tehran for Zagreb on January 20.

The preliminary competitions will be held from 12:30 and the final and ranking competitions will be held from 20:30 Iran time.
Also, the freestyle wrestling competitions of these competitions will be held from next Wednesday (December 20) in 6 weights: 57, 61, 65, 70, 74 and 86 kg. Kaveh’s students will leave Tehran for Zagreb on January 18. Also, on the 21st of January, wrestlers weighing 79, 92, 97 and 125 kg will go on the mat.
People sent to the national freestyle wrestling team: Rahman Amozad and Abbas Ebrahimzadeh in 65 kg, Yunus Emami and Hossein Abazari in 74 kg, Mohammad Nakhudi and Abdullah Sheikh Azami in 79 kg, Hadi Vafaipour in 86 kg, Kamran Qasimpour and Amir Ali Azarpira in 97 kg and Amir Hossein Zare and Amir Reza Masoumi wrestle in 125 kg in Zagreb tournament. In the weight of 125 kg, Amirhossein Zare and Amirreza Masoumi are the two representatives of Iran in this competition. If Zare can win this competition, he will be included in the freestyle wrestling list to participate in the Olympics.
