According to Tasnim news agency, following the matches of Group A of the Ooredoo Qatar Cup, tonight (Thursday) Al-Wakrah football team defeated Al-Ahly 7: 3.
Hazem Shehata (27 and 60), Mohammad Benitou (39 – penalty, 68 and 90), Osman Koulibali (59) and Nasser Al-Yazidi (80) were the scorers of Al-Wakrah. Al-Ahly goals were scored by Mohammad Hussein Kananizadegan (25), Hassan Ahmad (72) and Abdul Rashid Ibrahim (74).
Omid Ebrahimi (Al-Wakrah) and Mohammad Hussein Kananizadegan (Al-Ahly) played in the main squad of their team.
In the other game tonight, Al Rayyan defeated Al-Rayan 2-1 in the absence of Shoja Khalilzadeh. Frank Com (63) and Johann Booley (65) scored for Al Rayyan. Brimille scored the lone goal in the 13th minute.
From Group B of the Ooredoo Cup in Qatar, Al-Wakrah and Al Rayyan reached the semi-finals.
