According to Mehr news agency, Amir Mehdi Alavi, the director of public relations and information of the federation, said: following the planning of the meetings related to the Video Assistant Referee System (VAR), most of the goals of the football federation have come under its purview. Based on this, the Secretary General of the Football Federation, as the manager of the video assistant referee project, holds several meetings with related sub-sets on a daily basis.
He continued: As a continuation of yesterday’s meeting, today the honorable CEO of Isfahan Zob Ahan Club went to meet the president of the Football Federation and positive discussions were raised in this meeting regarding the issue of equipping Fouladshahr Stadium with a video assistant referee system. Also, on Wednesday, the meeting of the respected CEO of Gol Gohar Club with the head of the Football Federation will be held, the focus of which is to use the equipment in the Gol Gohar Club Stadium as soon as possible.
Alavi pointed out that related meetings will continue intensively. It seems that the football clubs of Khuzestan, Sepahan and Zob Ahan of Isfahan are the pioneers in the matter of equipping their stadiums with VAR technology, and we hope that due to the determination made in this regard, we will see the use of this technology in all stadiums in the future.
