According to Mehr News Agency, the preliminary stage of the 22nd Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship ended last night (Monday, August 30) with the introduction of the top 12 teams in Urmia.
At the end of this stage, the teams of Iran, Iraq, Japan, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Bahrain, Qatar, India, South Korea and Pakistan advanced to the next stage by winning the first and second places in their groups.
The schedule of the matches of the first elimination round of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship was announced, and these matches will be followed tomorrow (Wednesday, September 1st) with seven matches in Ghadir and Shahidan Ahandoost halls.
Accordingly, Iran’s national volleyball team will face Pakistan at 19:15 and the schedule of all matches is as follows:
South Korea – Indonesia at 10:15
Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan and Japan – Bahrain at 13:15
Qatar – Thailand and Chinese Taipei – Iraq at 16:15
Iran-Pakistan and China-India at 19:15
The teams of Iran and Japan, which are the first and second places in Asia, will directly advance to the semi-final stage if they win this stage.
