According to Mehr reporter, the 43rd Takhti Cup international freestyle wrestling competition started at 10:00 am this Thursday with the first five weight matches held in Al-Ghadir Hall in Urmia city and will end tomorrow Friday with the second five weight matches.
The finals of the second 5 weight were held in the presence of the governor of West Azerbaijan and other provincial officials and representatives of the people of Urmia in the Islamic Council.
At the end of the competition, the finals were held this afternoon, Ahmad Mohammad Nejad Javan in 57 kg weight, Mohammad Reza Shakri in 65 kg weight, Mohammad Bakhshi in 70 kg weight, Ali Sawadkohi in 79 kg weight and Mohammad Mubeen Azim won the championship in the weight of 92 kg.

Winning three championship titles by the wrestlers of the national youth team and their brilliance in these competitions promises good and successful days for Iranian wrestling.
The 43rd competition between international Takhti Jam Open Wrestling will be held in Urmia city for 2 days from today.
In this period of competitions, 150 domestic wrestlers and 30-40 foreign wrestlers from Iraq and Afghanistan are participating in Takhti Cup competitions.
