The women’s pistol team won the world bronze medal

According to Fars News Agency, on the first day of the World Shooting Championship in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the representatives of our country stood behind the line of fire in pistol 10 meters.

At the end of this competition, our country’s 10-meter pistol team, with the combination of Golnoush Sabgat Elahi, Haniye Rostamian and Mina Ghorbani, stood in the third place in the world. Chinese and Hungarian teams were first and second. There were 24 teams in this section.

The men’s pistol team with the combination of Amir Joharikho, Vahid Golkhandan and Sajjad Pourhosseini finished 11th. 25 teams competed in this section.

The championship shooting competition and distribution of Olympic quota will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 26 August to 3 September with the participation of 101 countries and more than 1,200 shooters.
