According to IRNA, from the public relations of the boxing federation, “Mohammad Amin Raushit”, a Hamadani boxer of the national youth team, who is in the team’s camp in Kurdistan province, lost consciousness after the end of one of the national team’s training sessions, and was immediately taken to the hospital by the emergency department.
Taimur Khani, head of the youth boxing camp, said: After the national team’s training, a villager went to the toilet to wash his hands and face, but after a while, he fell unconscious on the ground. After this incident, the emergency was immediately called and the villager was taken to the hospital.
He stated: In the hospital, it was found that he unfortunately suffered a brain injury and he must undergo surgery immediately. After learning about this issue and at the first opportunity, this young boxer of our country underwent surgery and according to the opinion of his treating doctor, the operation was successful.
Regarding the cause of this accident, Khani said: The cause of this incident has not yet been determined, and according to the doctors, the cause of this incident should be determined with further investigations. Of course, according to the village doctor, this incident has nothing to do with boxing training and they need more specialized investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
Regarding the current condition of the village, he said: After the surgery, the percentage of Mohammad Amin’s consciousness has increased, but unfortunately, he is still in a coma, and according to the doctor’s statement, we should wait until his condition is determined in the coming days. I hope that with the prayers of the people and the boxing community of our country, we will see the recovery of this young boxer as soon as possible.
