
According to IRNA correspondent Amir Sedighi on Tuesday at the meeting of the General Assembly for the election of the head of the Wushu Board of South Khorasan added: Wushu sport has created its popularity among families in recent years and now we have about 110,000 organized athletes in this field.
He said: “The resources of the federation are limited, but the Wushu Federation considers it its duty to work for the development of this sport throughout the country and in this regard, it provides financial support to the sports delegations.”
The president of the Wushu Federation said that the general administrations in the provinces also need to provide the necessary support to the Wushu delegation.
He said: “Wushu Federation of Iran is the only federation that among 170 member countries of the World Wushu Federation has created a system in the field of talent identification that uses modern technology and scientific points to discuss talent and has a unique capacity to introduce this system.” Try harder.
Siddiqui added: “Despite the limited resources, good measures are being taken by the federation and we have never been looking for profitability and a source of income.”
He said: “The system designed by the Wushu Federation in the field of education is one of the most advanced and accessible systems in the country, and the concern of the federation is always public, rural and health-oriented development.”
The President of the Wushu Federation stated: “Last year, we distributed 450 million Tomans from various credit sources among the provincial wushu delegations, and this year we are limited in terms of credit, but we are trying to attract credits for the development of this sport from various credit sources.”
He continued: The national wushu championship competitions will be hosted by Tehran this July and these competitions are to be held in two sections for boys and girls.
Pointing out that with good efforts, a good team will be sent from South Khorasan in the youth age group, Siddiqui said: “South Khorasan is moving in a good direction and has been able to develop good coaches, referees and athletes.”
Emphasizing that the infrastructure in South Khorasan needs a serious review, especially in the field of wushu, he added: “We hope that South Khorasan will be able to continue its growth and development with more support so that in the not too distant future nationals and good champions of this region Send national teams.
The President of the Wushu Federation said: “With the advice and coordination of provincial officials, including the Director General of Sports and Youth of South Khorasan, we seek to find better and simpler ways to equip wushu houses in the province.” It is on the agenda that we hope to continue this path with the strong support of the provincial authorities.
He said: if the required hall and place are assigned in the cities of the province, it can be equipped by the Wushu Federation.
Siddiqui added: “The head of the provincial wushu delegation is expected to take more effective steps in the development of this sport in all dimensions in the next four years, and we in the federation will provide the necessary support through interaction.”
The Deputy Minister of Sports Development of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of South Khorasan also said in the meeting: “South Khorasan is a low-income province and should be considered in allocating funds and sending sports equipment by the Wushu Federation.”
Seyedeh Azam Eslami added: “Talent identification of young people in the field of wushu is very important and the federation needs to be involved in this field, and we hope to be able to pursue talent identification in the province’s schools from the beginning of October.”
He said: “In the championship section, our coaches and referees need to pass training courses, and South Khorasan has the capacity to hold training courses for referees and coaches across the country.”
The Deputy Minister of Sports Development of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of South Khorasan said: “We believe that when our coaches and referees are scientifically upgraded, they will be effective and helpful in the technical field of athletes.”
He added: in sending athletes to national competitions, have a choice so that there is never a discussion for the cities, completing the chart of the provincial board is also very important and according to the regulations, complete its chart within a month.
Eslami stated that the provincial board should interact with the cities and supervise their activities in order to implement the approvals. He also said that the provincial board should make the necessary plans regarding the implementation of the instructions and approvals of the federation.
Noting that the popularization of wushu has an effective role in increasing the number of organized athletes and the culture of this sport, he added: “Our request is to use the capacity of the judges of South Khorasan in judging regional and national competitions.”
The general assembly for electing the chairman of the South Khorasan Wushu Board was held with the presence of 23 members and a candidate. Vahid Khorramshad was elected as the chairman of the South Khorasan Wushu Board for four years with 23 votes.
Also, Maryam Sarzehi was elected as vice president, Younes Bagheri as treasurer, Navid Khorramshad as expert, Maryam Farrokhifard as a member of the board of directors, and Ahmad Hosseini as a member of the board of directors. Sara Kooshafar was elected as an inspector of the Wushu Board.
