There was no way back for Kaveh Rezaei/my presence in the national team was a rumor

According to Mehr reporter, Paco Khamez, the head coach of the Tabriz Tractor football team, said about the rumors surrounding him about joining Sporting Gijon in Spain and being the head coach of the Iranian national team: I cannot confirm all the rumors about me. There were even rumors that I would become the head coach of the Iranian national team, but I am not going to talk about all the rumors. These are rumours. The only fact is that I am the only head coach of Tractor. We cannot depend on rumours. Some of them are lies.

The head coach of Tractor Tabriz further emphasized whether there was talk about his presence as the head coach of the Iranian national team: No; I think the choice made by the Iranian national team is a good choice. A smart choice was made. I would like to thank the new head coach of the national team (Amir Ghale Nooyi) for choosing the player from Tractor. It was a positive thing for our team. As the head coach of Tractor, we would like more players to be invited in the next camp. I wish success for the Iranian national team.

Khamez clarified about Kaveh Rezaei’s departure from Tractor in the middle of the season: Kaveh Rezaei left and nothing happened. I wanted him to stay but he decided to leave. His contract allowed him to leave in half of the season and he decided to leave. When he decided to leave, there was no turning back.

He praised the good performance of Reza Esadi regarding the change of his position and emphasized: Really, Reza Esadi can play wherever he wants, but according to our game system, the best place he can be is forward. It’s not about scoring goals, it’s about the team and its impact.

The head coach of Traktor said about the club’s meeting with him and Alves to solve the problems: We had a meeting with Alves. Private session output must remain private. Fans should not have any worries at all.
