Three Shahroudi basketball players were invited to the national team camp

Alireza Azizi in an interview with IRNA on Monday added: Mohammad Fazeli was invited to the third stage of the national youth team selection camp to participate in the Asian Games hosted by Tehran.

He pointed out that the national adult basketball team of the country consists of two groups “A” and “B”, said: Majid Rahimian, basketball player of Rafsanjan copper team, also went to the camp of the national team of group “B” to prepare the team for the Asian Championship. And was invited internationally.

The head of the Shahroud basketball team continued: Zahra Qais was also called to the camp of the three-member national basketball team to be sent to the Asian tournament.

Shahroud city has four men’s basketball clubs and four women’s clubs, in which about 700 men and 250 women basketball players are active.

This city hosted the return round of the first stage of the first division league of the country on December 12 last year.

The training and selection camp of the national youth basketball team was held in Shahroud in May of last year with the participation of 28 players from 6 provinces of the country.
