Ukraine asks to postpone meeting with Scotland


According to the Tasnim news agency and quoted by BBC Sport Scotland, the Ukrainian Football Union sent a request to the World Football Federation (FIFA) and the European Football Association (UEFA) asking for a postponement of the national team’s match against Scotland in the 2022 World Cup play-offs.

The match between Scotland and Ukraine is scheduled to take place on April 4, 1401 in Glasgow. The winner of this game will face the winner of Wales and Austria to finally get a team to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Scottish Football Association is in talks with FIFA and UEFA over a proposal from Ukraine.
