According to Mehr reporter, while the discussion of the cancellation of Persepolis goalkeeper Alireza Biranvand’s contract with this club and his presence in Esteghlal has become the main topic of Iranian sports media news, Vahid Amiri, another Persepolis player, has a different opinion.
Amiri, who is also considered one of Biranvand’s close friends, published a message on his Instagram on Monday afternoon and wrote: “We will go to our heads with lures, but we will keep our promise. No matter how upset Alireza is, he will not forget the love of Persepolis fans.”
This Persepolis player went on to write without mentioning the possible destination of Biranvand and Esteghlal: “Alireza will not go to a place where the hearts of the fans and lovers of Persepolis will be broken.”
For this message, Amiri has also published two pictures of Biranvand’s injury; One is the picture of the injury of this national team goalkeeper in the match between Iran and England in the World Cup in Qatar and the other is the fracture of the jaw in the final of the CAFFA tournament against Uzbekistan.
Morteza Pouraliganji, the defender of Persepolis, emphasized today that this team has severe financial problems and one of the reasons for Biranvand’s departure is this issue: “What Ali Biranvand has done and the mental knot he is stuck in is a reaction to these events; Persepolis, as the most popular football club in Iran, is so involved in economic problems that it is not able to create the necessary requirements to start pre-season training. I emphasize that after winning two championship cups and in a situation where today we have to prepare ourselves for a new competitive season and strengthen the team to conquer the Asian championship. It is very strange that those happy days have given way to this confusion today.
