I am Mohammad Hossein Amiri, one of the founders and CEO of Vindad. Vindad is an online legal service delivery system that specializes in providing legal services to businesses and trade unions. Vindad specializes in trade and Businessprovides services and does not provide legal services in other matters such as family law, property, divorce, alimony, etc.

What kind of services does Windad have now?

Vindad has a contract bank in which there are examples of practical contracts with article-by-article training in various fields such as business financial management, list of purchase and sale contracts, partnership contracts, investment contracts, etc. that businesses can use it Among our other services is the exclusive arrangement of contracts; This is the case when companies need an exclusive contract, whose steps from zero to one hundred are set online. Another service of Windad is contract review; When organizations are interacting with a company and signing a contract, they send the contract to us and we review it to modify or rewrite it. Our other service is online legal advice, which is provided over the phone and in person in various areas such as: investment, insurance and taxes, intellectual property issues, etc. Another service is Smart Legal Assessment; That is, as a business owner, you will receive reports on the status of your current business or the business you are planning to start. Another service is US patent registration (an exclusive right that belongs to an invention) that we do international patent registration completely online. All these services are based on the Windad platform, which we have designed in an optimized way ourselves, and this has caused 80% of our costs to decrease and our speed to increase, as a result, due to the reduction of costs, we can offer our services at a lower price. show

How much market share do you have?

90% of the legal market in Iran and the world is offline and traditional, although the online status of this industry is growing. In this field, we have several online legal startups such as Dodsan, Dodpardaz and a number of lawyer introduction websites. We have about 30% of the market share in the legal online market, although these two startups started their activities earlier than us, but we tried to use more technology.


Does Windad work on the website or the application?

site; Because according to the conversations we had with clients and due to the nature of the legal business, senior managers are more comfortable with this type of platform.

What is your competitive advantage?

Startups similar to Vindad do not specialize in a specific field and provide services in most areas such as property, criminal, family, etc., but Vindad specializes in providing legal solutions for different stages of starting a business. In similar startups, only the lawyer is introduced to the user, but we changed the use of legal services in three layers of user experience; In the service layer by specializing our services, in the product layer by using a platform that speeds up the work, and in the customer support layer, we follow the progress of our customers. (unlike other businesses where the user must be persistent)

As the interface between companies and users, what guarantees do you make so that users and companies do not interact directly with each other?

The fact that the services we provide are comprehensive and include all specialties, speeds up the user’s work to go through the steps and find the required specialist, and companies use our platform instead of hiring a lawyer for every legal dispute. They can have all these services as a complete service.

What round of investment are you currently in?

We raised an initial round of funding from Avatech last year and are currently negotiating for the next round.


What is Vindad’s next goal?

The size of the market we deal with is 250,000 businesses, and we aim to reach 3-5% of them in the next three years so that we can turn them into our active customers.

How do you see the future of the RegTech industry?

In my opinion, the Regtech industry in Iran is in the hands of the government, and the private sector does not have much power to enter this field; But legaltech has a brighter future because the legal industry in the whole world has very high costs and is a sick industry and needs to be developed.

Do you have a plan to enter the market outside of Iran?

We had the program from the first day, but it has some prerequisites that we are waiting to pass those steps.

What challenges and obstacles did you face in your business?

Currently, the challenging issue is “economy”. Companies and users have faced a lack of money, and legal services have been expensive from the beginning; On the other hand, investments are made less in this area, and our biggest challenge now is the lack of capital from both the customer and the investor.
