Visa was issued; Iran’s taekwondo national team will leave for Mexico on Monday



According to IRNA, the 25th World Taekwondo Championship will be hosted by Mexico from November 22 to 29. Based on this, the members of our country’s national team attended the Mexican Embassy in Tehran on Monday, November 9th, and did the things related to obtaining visas.

With the follow-ups done by the federation and the good cooperation of the Mexican embassy in Tehran, the visas of all the people sent to these competitions were issued at noon this Thursday. Accordingly, the members of the Iranian national team will leave Tehran for Mexico in 2 groups on November 16 and 17 to participate in the world championships.

Mehla Momenzadeh, Ghazal Soltani, Nahid Kiyani, Narges Mirnoorollahi, Zainab Esmaili and Akram Khodabandeh will participate in the women’s group under the guidance of Mino Madah as the head coach, Neda Zare and Mehrooz Saee as coaches in this tournament.

In the men’s group, Mehdi Haj Musaei, Hossein Lotfi, Metin Rezaei, Reza Kalhar, Mirhashem Hosseini, Mehran Bakhdari, Abolfazl Abbasi and Sajjad Mardani make up the national taekwondo team of our country.

The national team is led by Bijan Moqanlu as the head coach. Masoud Haji Zawareh and Naima Khajovi are also present as coaches in the technical staff.
