Why is the tie between Persepolis and Foulad a slight loss for both teams?

Mohsen Sidi, in an interview with the sports reporter of Tasnim news agency, about the situation of the Persepolis football team before the start of the second week of the Premier League, said: the events that happened in the transfers for contenders such as Persepolis, Esteghlal, Sepahan and Foulad, it was expected that these teams from the beginning start the league with strength, but at least this did not happen to Persepolis. With the purchases that have been made, the expectations of this team have increased and it must do the work efficiently.

He added: I also believe that teams need 3-4 games in order to create harmony in their composition, of course, this issue does not exist in the leagues of prominent countries. Expectations from the big teams are high from the very beginning of the tournament, because these clubs have the best players and resources at their disposal. It is the same in Iran, the teams that have had good transfers and have gone through a good preparation process should achieve maximum success from the beginning. On the other hand, generally in the big teams of Iran, the teams are too willing to change in the pre-season transfers, while no team should have changes. Teams should keep their original berth and eventually have two or three acquisitions. This does not happen in the Iranian league and usually the overall structure of the teams changes during transfers. The fact that there are many changes in Iran’s big teams can be worrying. These major changes ultimately lead to teams needing a few weeks to adjust and make decisions at the start of the league.

About Foulad, the opponent of Persepolis on Friday, Sidi said: Javad Nekonam has a growing trend in coaching and I hope he can work in Europe one day. I enjoyed the progress of coaches like Nekonam and Majidi. Foulad is a tough opponent for Persolis. This team has been much more successful in transfers, and on the other hand, the consistency of Nkonam’s work shows that this team has started the league with good conditions. I think the confrontation between Persepolis and Foulad can be high quality and attractive.

The Persepolis football veteran stated that “I believe that the coaches should get out of the result-oriented format” and pointed out: If we want to be result-oriented, then the coaches say that we should not lose the first game 5-4 in order to gradually get better conditions. Nevertheless, I think Foulad wants not to lose first and maybe Persepolis has the same thoughts. I believe that considering that both teams have earned one point in the first week game, a draw in this game will be a slight loss for both teams. With a draw in this game, the two teams actually lose 4 points from the first two weeks, and this can make things difficult for both teams.
