According to Fars news agency, the first five weight competitions of the World Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championships were held on August 7 and 8 in Rome, Italy, and at the end of the Iranian team, Reza Soleimianian won the silver medal in 80 kg and Arshiya Haddadi in 48 kg. He won a bronze medal. Mohammad Reza Lotfi also finished fifth in 110 kg weight.

In the weight of 48 kg, Arshiya Haddadi defeated Azim Abdikalikov from Kyrgyzstan in the first round with a score of 8-0 and went to the quarter final stage. In this stage, he lost against Christian Castillo from America with the result of 8-6 and due to the presence of his opponent in the final match, he went to the losers group. In this group, he had to win against Ozgur Jaglian from Turkey with a score of 13-1 and made it to the classification match. In this match, Haddadi defeated Rasul Galboraif from France with a score of 11 to 0 and won the bronze medal.
In the weight of 55 kg, Amir Mehdi Nejatizadeh, after taking a break in the first round, was defeated by Husan Bai Osmanev from Uzbekistan in the second round with a score of 9-0, and due to the defeat of this wrestler in the quarter-final stage, he withdrew from the competition.
In the weight of 65 kg, Mohammad Mehdi Memivand was defeated by Elias Eisayev from Azerbaijan in the first round with a score of 3-0, and due to the presence of this wrestler in the final match, he went to the losers group. In this group, he defeated Alp Beganjov from Turkmenistan with a score of 12-2, but in the next round, he lost to Aikin Bolatoli from Kazakhstan with a score of 9-8 and withdrew from the competition.
In the weight of 80, Reza Soleimian won in the first round against Zachary Day Ryder from America with the result of 10:0. In the next round, he passed Slavi Stamenov from Bulgaria with a score of 5:3. Suleimanian won 6-3 against Askhab Khajiev from Kazakhstan in the quarter-finals and went to the semi-finals. In this stage, he won against Mohammad Amin Abdulaif from Tajikistan with a score of 10-0 and went to the finals. In the final match, Suleimanian lost to Moore Sachin from India with a score of 6-3 and won the silver medal.
In the weight of 110 kg, after taking a break in the first round, Mohammad Reza Lotfi won the second round against Alikhan Kusainov from Kazakhstan with the result of 8:2. In the next round and in the quarter-finals, he defeated Ralfs Lukins from Latvia with a score of 10-2 and went to the semi-finals. In this stage, Lotfi lost to Luan Laguilava from France with the result of 9-11 and went to the classification match. In this match, his opponent was defeated by Singh Jasporan from India with a score of 4-0 and finished fifth.
Tomorrow night, in the classification and finals of the second five weights of this tournament, Mohammad Reza Asadi in 51 kg and Ibrahim Elahi in 60 kg won gold medals, Amir Mohammad Nawazi in 45 kg and Irfan Alizadeh in 92 kg to win bronze medals. They go to the square.
