Zarei remained president of the Mountaineering Federation for another 4 years

According to the Fars News Agency sports correspondent, the election assembly of the Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing today was chaired by Benjamin Shokouhfar, Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth, and attended by Ali Raghati, Director General of the Planning Office of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Kikavous Saeedi, National Olympic Committee representative and Behnam Mahmoudi Special Assistant. And Adviser to the Minister of Sports and Youth was held.

This election was held by three candidates named Saeed Haji Begloo, Reza Zarei and Kaveh Kashefi. Haji Begloo announced his resignation after the speech. At the end of the voting, Reza Zarei was elected as the president of the federation with 38 votes. Kashefi received 18 votes.

Zarei previously chaired the federation.
