“Radio Muharram” is broadcast 24 hours a day until the end of Muharram
According to Fars News Agency’s Radio and TV reporter, Muharram Radio will start broadcasting at the same time as the days of mourning for Seyyed al-Shahada. Radio Muharram has been working since 2016 and every year in the month of Muharram, it broadcasts special programs for these days. This radio network broadcasts hymns, Ashura poems, moral messages, lifestyle explanations based on Hosseini’s sensational epic teachings, poetry readings, sayings of elders and many other topics related to Hosseini’s movement 24 hours a day. Like last year, Masoud Kaviani is in charge of the management of Radio Maarif and Radio Moharram this year.
Moharram radio network can be accessed through the FM wavelength range of 5.95 MHz, digital receivers (Radio Nama) and also through the Iransada application.
Radio Moharram will start its activity for the seventh consecutive year at the same time as the month of Moharram. Seyyed Ahmadreza Sadr, Public Relations Director of the Voice Deputy, has announced in a news that Ali Bakshizadeh, the Voice Deputy, has appointed Masoud Kaviani as the director of Moharram Radio, keeping his position.
He explained: Radio Muharram from the beginning to the end of the month of Muharram on F wave. M Radif 95.5 is broadcast to the audience. As in previous years, this radio goes on the air for listeners all over the country with a special approach that creates a Hosseiniyeh in a special way throughout the whole of Iran with different and diverse sections along with praises and short speeches and creating Hosseini enthusiasm.
Stating that Muharram Radio is based on seasonal radio, Sadr noted: Seasonal radio is an opportunity to create programming in different fields with different approaches at different times and situations.
According to the director of public relations of the vice-chancellor of sound, after the end of Muharram, Radio Arbaeen will start and will continue broadcasting until the beginning of Rabi-ul-Awl.
