According to Aria Heritage report, on the third day of the 17th meeting of the International Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, which is being held in the city of Rabat, Morocco, from December 6 to 12, 1401, “Yalda/Cheleh” was registered as the 19th intangible cultural heritage element of our country shared with Afghanistan.

From Iran, six cases for global registration will be reviewed at the 17th meeting of the International Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage, which include silkworm breeding and traditional production of silk for weaving (jointly with Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), Turkmen needlework (Turkmen embroidery). ) (shared with Turkmenistan), the art of making and playing oud (shared with Syria), Yalda/Cele (shared with Afghanistan), the art of making and playing rebab (shared with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) and Mehrgan ceremony (shared with Tajikistan).

The files presented for this meeting include 24 reports on an element included in the Urgent Protection List, 42 reports on the implementation of the 2003 Convention and on the current status of elements registered on the Representative List by member states in Europe, four nominations on the Urgent Protection List. , 46 nominations for the representative list, five proposals for registration of good conservation practices and one request for international assistance.
