Please introduce yourself and tell us about your work history:

I am Hossein Shekari, born in 1992, I got my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, after that I continued my education in the master’s degree in entrepreneurship with the tendency to get new jobs from Shahid Beheshti University. However, from the age of 18, I worked in the cultural field and managed to hold various festivals. I also gained experience as a public relations manager of the Young Shahriaran House, Milad Tower Public Relations, Tehran Municipality Social News Organization and Tehran Municipality Tourism Organization Public Relations Manager. I am currently managing the Dozli Book Collection, which specializes in personalizing children’s cultural products.

What is Dozley Book?

Dozley is a startup book through which families can produce and purchase personalized cultural products for their children. In other words, people choose products such as their own book and office based on their taste and enter their child’s information, including, name Child, Interests, parents’ names and photos of the child’s face. Finally, the output of this work is a personalized story book that is published exclusively for the child, with the difference that the child is the protagonist of this story. What was the reason for choosing the name Dozley Book? what does it mean?

I chose this name because I am originally from Azeri. Dozli, which is a Turkish word, means Banmak, and the word book also means book. In fact, the general meaning of that book is the story of Banmak. That’s why Dozley’s book is the creator of children’s comic books.

Our books are suitable for infants to children up to ten years old, so they include different types. At DozliBook we have a variety of skill books for children. Is the child counselor with you or part of the team?

In general, the role of child counselors in Dozley Book is more than teamwork, so they are not a member of the team, but for each product that is produced, all-out meetings are held under the supervision of counselors to review the product.

Tell us about your team building process:

Most of the Dozley Book team members were friends and students of mine and worked in various fields for many years. That’s why we try to bring together young, well-thought-out and creative people. It is interesting to know that about 30 people have been added to our team to date, so the members of the Dozley Book team have changed over time and according to the needs of the startup. How have you seen the audience’s connection to your books so far?

Our audience is children. In other words, our products are made for children, but those who make our books are the parents, the child’s relatives and the teachers. What other products does your startup offer besides personalized books?

For example, the box through which the child can get acquainted with different occupations, there are also other boxes that the child can use to create products using creative tools, these are examples of products of the box. . Also working with another startup called Minia We are the one that offers the product of sock dolls. The routine is that after selling sock dolls to children, they can play their favorite puppet show with the book they have. We now have a shop in the Water and Fire Park where all of the above are sold in person. Children there can watch fascinating puppet shows, draw, make a variety of crafts, and finally buy our personalized books and products if they are interested.

What measures do you think in the field of children will help it to grow and develop better?

In my opinion, the child education system in the world has changed. Today, most people know that the child has to find his own way, so any product or tool that helps the child to better process the learning process, has a good potential to communicate with children. For example, in the book Magic Spin, the story is told that a child is left alone at home and wishes that his dolls came to life and talked to him, then a magic spin dies and Her dolls come to life. Throughout the story, the dolls fight with each other and the child, as an adult, helps them and tries to reconcile the dolls. In addition to strengthening the child’s imagination, this story subconsciously and indirectly teaches educational issues. The point here is that in the field of children, our country does not have products that are Iranianized and somehow fit our culture. In fact, in my opinion, we do not have a big and well-known brand in the field of children in Iran. This is a big problem and there is a lot of work to be done, because there is not a single Iranian hero for children, if you look at the market, you will see that all the products on the market are Western and foreign heroes. Although we are holding the My Hero Festival in collaboration with Iran. My Hero Festival is actually a call for product design in the field of children with Iranian personalities, such as Haj Ghasem Soleimani, Health Martyrs, Nuclear Martyrs and mythical Iranian personalities. Tell us about your competitors’ market and competitive advantages.

DozzliBook startup has internal and external competitors. Our foreign competitors work in different countries, and there are a number of good teams inside the country. Regarding the competitive advantage of startups, I can say that we are a platform through which various publishers can personalize their books, while our competitors are not. Also, our books are thematic and educational, while most of the content of our competitors’ products is in the form of gifts and entertainment. On the other hand, in addition to the products we had, we tried to have various products such as office and kitchen. In general, this market is very large, and all our competitors are, in fact, our business partners, and in my opinion, this is a market whose competition is alongside camaraderie. A person who buys a personal story book will usually go for personalized books next time if he is satisfied. In this way, if the book of our product variety is limited, one will go to the competitors and vice versa is also possible.

What is your plan for the growth and development of DozliBook?

We are building a series called Dozley Holland, which includes all the actors in the field of children, including Dozley Book. Duzley’s Netherlands is made up of different sections, such as, games, training, product production, show production and film. In this way, the child becomes familiar with different programs, such as theater performances, games, and educational classes, when he enters the Dozley Land complex. Dozley Land’s overall goal is to be able to help children better understand their life path together with their parents.
