0 to 100 approvals of the Supreme Housing Council regarding land supply/housing production surge law are implemented


According to the economic correspondent of Fars news agency, based on the approvals of the third meeting of the Supreme Council on Housing, land supply has been emphasized as the first priority of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development in the national housing movement.

Based on this, 5 resolutions and one note from the resolutions of the third meeting of the Supreme Council of Housing are dedicated to the land issue, and most of these resolutions are in line with the implementation of the law on the jump in housing production and supply.

The details of these approvals are as follows:

1- Executive agencies subject to Article 10 of the Law on Housing Production Surge are obliged to hand over the lands in their possession to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development within the prescribed period specified in the law.

2- The governors across the country, as the head of the provincial planning council, are required to plan in such a way that the land proposed by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development for change of use for use in housing support projects is determined according to the schedule specified in Article 8 of the Housing Production Jump Law. . If the institutions send the answers to the queries in the specified time, it will be considered as a positive answer of that institution and the planning council of the province should act accordingly.

3- The Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation is obliged to hand over the lands it has received from the government agencies to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development for free in the event of the transformation of the village into a city based on the country’s division or use it in the form of housing support schemes of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development; Cities that have been converted from villages to cities in the past are also covered by this clause.

4- The Ministry of Agricultural Jihad (Natural Resources Organization) is obliged to hand over all the lands located within the boundaries of the cities, except for the lands subject to Note 2, Article 9 of the Housing Production Jump Law, to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development within the next two months.

5- The governors across the country, as the head of the Provincial Housing Council, are required to provide the lands required by the National Housing Movement Plan in accordance with the housing provision plan notified to the provinces within four years, at the latest by the end of August, and the Supreme Council of Urban Planning and Architecture according to the schedule. Act on the annexation of cities with more than 50,000 people.
